Scarface - 1 Oz - Silver Collector Coin

Scarface is a 1983 American film based on a screenplay by Oliver Stone and starring Al Pacino. Directed by Brian De Palma.

The film is set in Miami year 1980 (most of the film, however, was shot in Los Angelesbecause Miami's leaders didn't want the film to show their city in a bad light). Al Pacino plays a quirky drug dealer drug dealer Tony Montana. Montana arrives from Cuba to Miami and wants to get to the top, which he falls off at the end of the film - he loses his wife, his sister and kills his best friend. Montana himself is then shot to death by a thousand bullets on balcony of his mansion. The wife of the (anti-)hero is played by Michelle Pfeiffer. Impressive soundtrack is credited to Giorgio Moroder and his lyricist Peter Bellote.
